This is the massive United States Naval Observatory Star Catalog a full 6.11 gb of star data.  This use to be available on the net and then the download time was many many hours.    Years ago there was a program where there were about 5 copies of this catalog on CD-Rom, and one would have their name on a list.  One would pay for shipping the CD's both ways and would get the opportunity to copy it then return it.  Well after a short time those copies vanished and the offer is no longer around.
