The FS-60csnv is a fluorite apochromatic
refractor. Like other Takahashi in the FS series it has a hard
multi-coated fluorite objective up front with a
low dispersion hard multicoated rear element.
This is the new shorter version of the FS-60c. It is 40mm shorter
than the previous model making this a very compact little scope
This compact short focus f/5.9 355mm apo
refractor is nice for wide fields and I couple it with the Takahashi
Sky90 reducer/corrector making it a
nice wide FOV imaging platform at f/4.6 282mm
focal length.
I use the FS-60csnv for imaging as well as as wide
field imaging platform. Mounted on top of the FRC-300 and next to
the FSQ this baby Takahashi is
never left alone.

the FSQ. This is my imaging set-up for the FS-60c
You can see it better here the image train on the
FS-60csnv and the guider on the FSQ

FS-60csnv the tube is 40mm shorter than the older version
Since it is shorter an adaptor needed to be made to
increase the back focus for imaging. The "keitel
adaptor" was formed
